About Us
Your hosts Ruth and Adam Shore share deep roots in Cape Breton. After years of spending all of our vacation time here, we moved our family from Halifax to Wreck Cove in 2021.
We are drawn to the rugged beauty of the Cabot Trail, and Cape Breton’s North Shore. The ability to slow down and spend time together in the great outdoors through all four seasons was a deciding factor for us in this decision.
With backgrounds in Trail Building and Environmental Education we wanted to raise our family immersed in nature’s beauty. It is with great joy that we share our little morsel of paradise with you.
We understand the importance of family time and making memories together. We offer a wide range of activities and amenities that cater to families of all sizes and ages. Whether you prefer to take a leisurely hike, explore the beautiful coastline, or go on an adrenaline-fueled adventure, we have something for everyone.
Traveling Nova Scotia for a week — this was our favorite stay. The cabin was perfect and very clean, the area beautiful, and the price was right. We were able to hike around and walk to the beach–all from our cabin. We decided we should have stayed longer here.
Contact-Less Check In
Check in is at 3pm. Prior to your check in, we will have your cottage prepared for you and open with your key inside.
Parking for one car is located directly in front of your cottage. If you require more parking, please let us know and we’ll help you out.
Upon arrival, we highly recommend settling in and visiting the beach across the road. If you need a hand planning your adventure, drop us a note or a call.
Cancellation
We reserve the right to charge for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the date of your stay. Your reservation will be billed to the credit card supplied.
Pet Policy
We are a pet friendly business. An additional $20 will be charged to your reservation for pets. We do have dogs of our own, and we ask that all dogs be kept on leash here during your stay without exception.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in the cottages. A $75 deep cleaning fee will be applied if smoking in cottages. Dispose of your refuse in receptacles or garbage cans on site.
